Private Residence

A developer of multifamily housing projects in the San Francisco Bay Area commissioned a concept design for a site located in the foothills near the town of Napa, California. The sloping site provided opportunity to zone the various activity areas within the residence according to use with family/recreation on the lower level, living, den/study and kitchen and dining room on the entry level, and bedrooms on the upper level. The internal layout of the floors and the placement of glass affords extensive views of the surrounding valley.
